Activities

At Stephenson Nursing Center, activities encourage people to learn and grow continuously throughout their lives.  The staff at Stephenson Nursing Center recognizes the wisdom and experience of our elders and what we can learn from them when we build meaningful relationships. Activities  are designed to foster these relationships and stimulate growth and purpose in everyday life.

 Our activities include shopping, lunch outings, cocktail hours, high teas, Sunday brunches, tours, as well as crafts, social events, bingo, exercise and heath programs. We host faith services and musical programs.

  Our therapeutic recreation staff are always leading activities to encourage elders to live and grow here.  Other caring staff and volunteers are dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships, helping elders “embrace living,” however they may choose.
