Stephenson Nursing Center
Our memory care unit is a community that allows residents with Dementia and Alzheimer's diagnoses the safety of a secure unit with both indoor and outdoor areas.
The secured unit is also gated outdoors to allow for freedom in and outside. The increased staff allows for extra monitoring of activities and needs.
Our staff have specialized training in conditions like Alzheimer's and Dementia so they can better meet the needs of every resident that resides in our care.
This unit offers a highly structured environment that helps mitigate confusion and disorientation. Meals and activities are done on a strict schedule that stays the same every day.
Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's or Dementia can be very difficult. We understand the love and energy that goes into care giving. When a loved one becomes confused and is in danger of putting themselves in harm's way by leaving their home, a secure memory unit allows freedom of movement without risk of harm. If you believe that your loved one is ready for memory care, don't hesitate to call Marissa, our Admissions Director at (815) 235-6173 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We'd be glad to answer any questions you have or schedule a tour with a free lunch.
